FIESTA TRADICIONAL SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR (PARAMO DE LA CULATA) MERIDA VENEZUELA

La ruta recoge la experiencia turístico religiosa que ofrece la ecorregión de los Páramos, ubicada en pleno corazón de la Cordillera de Los Andes, entre los Parques Nacionales de La Culata y de Sierra Nevada, que facilitan el disfrute y el contacto directo con la naturaleza. Dado su carácter montañoso, su patrimonio cultural, el tipo de clima y su gran biodiversidad, la ecorregión paramera se presta, especialmente, para el turismo religioso, turismo de aventura y el el agroturismo.

Igualmente, se encuentra el Parque Nacional Sierra de La Culata, entre los estados Mérida y Trujillo, que corre paralelo al Parque Sierra Nevada, el cual representa un extenso territorio virgen ocupando una superficie de 200.400 hectáreas. En estos espacios protegidos se ven gran variedad de especies animales que hacen vida entre los páramos y los bosques nublados.

La Fiesta en honor a San Isidro Labrador, la celebran habitantes de los pueblos del Estado Mérida, en este trabajo especial, reseñaré los ubicados en el Páramo de la Culata quienes celebran con toda solemnidad, el 15 de mayo de cada año, la fiesta de San Isidro Labrador y los Velorios de Cruz de Mayo se celebran durante todo este mes. Allí se reza el rosario y se baila al son del cuatro, las maracas, la bandolina y la tambora.

En esta celebración se le da gracias a dios y se le da como tributo a las buenas cosechas, los frutos del campo los cuales sirven de donativos tanto para la iglesia como para los más necesitados en el sector, es un compartir de hermandad y solidaridad, donde los músicos con su merengue campesino, el sonido de estruendo de los morteros, el desfile de los bueyes, las carrozas alegóricas, y el paseo del santo patrón le dan el colorido a esta celebración, bajo temperaturas entre los 5 a 10 grados centígrados, y a una altitud sobre el nivel del mar que oscila entre los 2.500 - 2.700 mts. En este maravilloso lugar, cada sitio es aprovechado al máximo, gente honesta, trabajadora y religiosa que abre sus puertas para mostrarle al turista todo lo que les brinda la madre tierra, entre sus principales cultivos de la región tenemos: papa, zanahoria, ajo, fresa, mora, truchas, cebollin, cilantro, auyama, piña, cambur y demás hortalizas.

TRADICIONAL FESTIVAL SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR (PARAMO DE LA CULATA)

The route includes the religious tourism experience offered by the ecoregion of the Páramos, located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, between the National Parks of La Culata and Sierra Nevada, which facilitate enjoyment and direct contact with nature. Given its mountainous character, its cultural heritage, the type of climate and its great biodiversity, the moorland ecoregion lends itself especially to religious tourism, adventure tourism and agrotourism.

Also, is the Sierra de La Culata National Park, between the states of Merida and Trujillo, which runs parallel to the Sierra Nevada Park, which represents an extensive virgin territory occupying an area of 200,400 hectares. The Fiesta in honor of San Isidro Labrador, is celebrated by the inhabitants of the Mérida State, in this special work, I will describe those located in the Páramo de la Culata who celebrate with solemnity, on May 15 of each year, the feast of San Isidro Labrador and the Velorios de Cruz de Mayo are celebrated throughout this month.
