It has been a prolific season for the 32 year old portugese football star who plays for Real Madrid . He is a world class striker with 55 goals in season 2016/17 which include 2 goals in the final of champions league against Juventus. He is a goalscoring machine as he scored 50+ goals for sixth season in a row which is an excellent achievement for any striker in the world. He is not just a goal scorer he has also sets his teammates for goals for 17 times this season.
Cristiano Ronaldo had a great season winning different trophies and scoring 50+ goals which has made Cristiano Ronaldo favourite to win the Ballon d'or this year(2017). He has won personal as well as teams trophies which is supposed to give him slight advantage against his arch rival Lionel messi. The Real madrid star has won :The Best FIFA Men's Player 2016,FIFA Club World Cup,France Football Ballon D'Or 2016,UEFA Best Player in Europe,UEFA Euro 2016 (Portugal),UEFA Champions League (Real Madrid),La liga santander (Real madrid) . The Real madrid star is all set to lift the ballon d'or for 5 time in his career equaling the number with Barcelona star Lionel messi who have also won ballon d'or 5 times.
