Google is bringing browser based streaming game services
Google is trying to expand the company's cloud technology and global data center network through this new streaming game service.
According to a Reuters report, this streaming technology allows consumers to play games on the Internet browser or YouTube without having to wait for content to be downloaded to the device. It is believed that the game will be as easy as watching a video on YouTube.
Google has not provided any details on when the game streaming service will launch or how it will be priced. The search engine giant also faces strong competition from top game makers in this sector and rival companies like Amazon and Microsoft.
When announcing the new service on Tuesday, Google Vice President Phil Harrison said, "Waiting for the game to be a thing of the past will be a thing of the past."
Google does not say what the technology will cost or what kind of game support it will get for customers or game creators.
