Lilipaly: Don't go, Luis Milla

Stefano Lilipaly asked PSSI to maintain Luis Milla as Indonesian national team coach. The Spanish coach is considered to have given many valuable things.

Milla's future became speculation, following the failure of the Indonesia U-23 national team to advance to the 2018 Asian Games semifinals. Hansamu Yama et al stopped in the last 16 after losing to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Luis Milla has been Indonesia's coach since January 2017. Stefano Lilipaly was only called up shortly before the Asian Games as a senior player.

During Milla's handling, the Bali United player felt the Indonesian national team had a lot of progress. He has provided many lessons especially for young players.

"I hope he and his staff will remain as coaches (Indonesian national team). He is a great coach with a lot of experience, and also a great person. It will be very good for the national team if they will be defended," Stefano said.

We can learn a lot from him, especially the younger generation, they have greatly respected him (Milla). So I hope he will stay stay, "he said.

Milla had said goodbye to the players in the dressing room after the match last night. He also felt sad to lose the players who were considered extraordinary.
