STOLEN MACE-My take on the issue

Any Nigerian on Steemit who has an Android phone definitely must have seen this picture online, and might not know what happened in there.
Well, I can take my time to tell you, this is what happened:
A sitting Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege who was suspended for 90 days stormed the chambers with five hefty men; beating up all security officials in the chambers, they made away with the mace as you can see in the picture.

MY TAKE ON THE MATTER:
I will boldly describe it as shameful, disgraceful, embarrassing and barbaric. How on earth did it happen, with the level of security in our supposedly 'hallowed' Senate? What was the job of the policemen there during the whole drama?

It is clearly a threat to the Nigerian democracy that some people died for years ago. It's so funny how we let people get away with crimes. Until people are punished accordingly for their misdeeds, development will keep crawling in this country.
