RE: Steem Witness Forum Tomorrow

in #steem6 years ago

Does it really matter? I remember reading a post a while back that detailed @freedom and what his witness vote did due to his huge stake. If I remember the numbers correctly you are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the top 20 just by having his vote. It seems pretty useless to vote the longer I am here. Hell even ned said that most of the witnesses didn't even bother testing the new hard fork till 2 days before it launched

And there is nothing we can do about it because of one stake holder that you yourself have written a long article on that I quoted in my response to @ned . I want steemit to succeed but with the way that the large stake holders / whales around here manage the place it is no wonder ned comes off looking like a fool all the time. I think he is a very smart man but with help like what I just screen shoted he is destined for failure and he can not help it because we are stuck with lazy and incompetent people steering the ship for him.

It takes a lot more than just @freedom's vote to be in the 20.

sorry for the name swap but i am out of RC on doomsday lol
this is from an old post but it illustrates it well.

dark blue is freedoms vote. That is MASSIVE. just look at it. seriously. Yes you can have his vote and be outside the top 20 but it is so damn hard to get anyone out that does have his vote. Damn near impossible.

You should write this up as a detailed post yourself, valuable information right there!
