Beat Anemia with just apples and nails
It may sound crazy but this home remedy promises to cure anemia with just apples and nails.
This remedy consists of simply taking an organic apple and 10 nails and wash them separately very well, and then let them dry. Once dry, we should stick the nails in the apple, preferably around the stem. We must leave the apple with the nails embedded around 12 hours. After this time we remove the nails and we are ready to eat the apple.
For this natural remedy to really take effect, it must be repeated daily for at least a week.
The secret of this remedy is based on the fact that the apple absorbs the iron contained in the nails when they oxidize when they are embedded inside the apple. By eating the apple our body absorbs and processes all this iron that would help us fight the annoying disease of anemia that can bring on so many problems. In addition, it is an excellent choice as a natural substitute for expensive commercial iron supplements.
Tell me, Did you already know about the existence of this ancient remedy? Would you dare to try it ?

Seems crazy at first but I gave it a few quick searches but could not find any clinical trials regarding it. I did however find 1 rat study, which in the abstract, showed a good increase of iron through this method. =) Hope there comes more about this "home cure" :D
