One Must Have Faith

I Suppose
That's hard for me.
I'm not much on Faith.
.

.
It says here that a month ago I had a thousand Steem and my account was worth about
$350
.
As a result of a LOT of work.
(over 2300 posts and comments)
(many, many votes)

Pretty much Steeming 24/7 except when I'm asleep.
.
Today I have about THREE thousand Steem and my account is worth about.
$350
.
THIS is why.

....but it's frusturating
I need some encouragement.
Help me out here.

the steem economy will be getting some very big changes soon. in a few days which will ease the inflation and the value of steem is expected to rise.

It will go up again, maybe not to its glory days for some time but it will go up soon.

a small steady increase would be a big morale booster.
or at least not a DEcrease.

I'm hoping to buy my first bitcoin this week and then use it all on steem. should get a decent boost intime fot he steem explosion. And i know very little about crypto currency and I am really trusting the news I hear on this site and a, very few, tweets.

Stick with Bitcoin, really. If you want to invest in Steem do it with 5-10% of your bitcoins. Bitcoin is the most stable and solid crypto. Other coins are much more risky investments. Don't play in casino – build a diversified portfolio of assets and you'll be fine.

I'd just buy it to get Steem Power. Im not into trading Bitcoins or mining it.

However I could not buy a bitcoin because I am in China and using credit card from here is really hard.

Coinbase flagged me as in HK because of my VPN when I registered and they don't allow Hong Kong transactions. And then I tried to conect through a Canadian IP but they don't believe me. lol SO i am going through this really difficult verification with them.

So I decided to try Circle connecting through an LA IP and I'm waiting since Friday to confirm my Passport photo and verification.

Getting my first bitcoin ain't easy for me. lol

Then I stumbled upon EOBOT.com and I get a few pennies of bitcoin just to log in once a day and 1 free dogecoin which is worth less than a grain of sand but it converts it all to Steem for me and once it reaches the minimum i can send to Steem, again after a lengthy verification proccess. Free steem even if its pennies.

I thought Bitcoin was suppose to be anonymous yet it's so hard to do it over the table let alone under the table. LOL

All I can say is be confident @everittdmickey !
These big ups and downs are normal in crypto coins, just look at bitcoin. Before the halving it reached 710 $ then whent down to just a bit over 530$ and now in november is again over 700$ ...So my advice is to keep posting and have patience and you will see that in the end all will be Ok!

Steem is my first foray into the land of Crypto.
If you discount that my AFSC in the USAF back in the day was CryptoMaintainence..(not the same thing)

Ok ...ah... I am sorry @everittdmickey but I dont understand what AFSC and USAF stand for.
All that I wanted is just to encourage you and put a good word...if I made an offence or something, I am really sorry...

oh no...no offense at all!
AFSC means Armed Forces Speciality Code...or something.
USAF means Uncle Sugar's Air Force.
They keep changing things, so their probably calling it something else now. job security don't you know.
All I meant is that when I was "Crypto" it wan't nuthing like what we're talking about here.

Ah...Thanks very much for making it clear!
Even that I make some little mining on some coins like burst, I still have alot to learn about these terms and crypto in general and I saw here on Steemit a lot of articles that I can learn from.
Again thanks for explaining it to me!

your welcome
when I was in the AirForce I maintained machines that encrypted communications...that's what I meant.

What we call crypto now is something else.

Keep up the good work @everittdmickey. This is just the beginning and we're the early birds or night owls who will see things rise in due time, and it'll all pay off... hopefully. ;)

Hopefully.
and I'd be doing it any...on FarceBook..
so why not here?
right?

I always tell myself, "Self, the money you make here today is not for tomorrow."

Hard work, dedication, patience. That's today's pay.

Right...it's an investment.
I keep telling myself.

Just remember how early in this game we are - we're still EARLY APODTERS of something most people haven't heard of (but just made Rolling Stone magazine didja see that??).
But I know exactly how you feel, I took some time off myself recently, maybe you should too and just get away from it for awhile. But I do need you here to keep my blogs honest! All your SBD will still be there when you come back tho, probably increasing in value. Let's keep hoping together for what that $350 will look like if Steem ever shoots to 100 times it's current value okay?

Gnu! Can you imagine that?

Well i hate to be a downer on this one but uf you are holding steembacked dollars...even if steem goes to $50 each, your sbd will still only be owrth $1 wortg of steem (likely slightly more). But if you hold them in steem settled for around this price and it goes to $50 each, you will be very very happy!
