Here ya go pal. I've been here 2-months plus now and felt your frustration in the beginning. Steemit is growing - and as more people post here, the chances of getting views & votes gets slimmer. That's only to be expected.

When I gave up worrying about all that - getting followers, getting upvotes, making ¢$💲!!! - I kept coming back just to read all the diverse posts that I find here and upvote & comment on those I get some braincells fired up on. I haven't yet decided on what I'd like my "nitch" to be here... I never did any blogging before. But I DO try posting a couple of things I'm interested in myself on a daily basis (IF & when I have the time away from my life as it is :-)

Bottom line: Stick with it. Don't worry what others think about what you're doing - they're going through the same journey as you are. Just do what you like until you feel comfortable doing it with a purpose of sharing something important only YOU are providing. Then things will come around and the recognition and financial rewards will come to you. Best of luck! You've gained at least ONE MORE follower!
