Hit a new milestone on my Steemit account today reaching 10,000 followers! Wow! My gratitude is overflowing from your generosity and loving support. Thank you deeply for being part of our Steemit journey together.

Additionally, the @openmic account has 970 followers of Steemit Open Mic, musicians from all corners of the world coming together on this platform to share what we love most; music. The music you've created with us is a blessing that keeps giving for over two years now and I'm so grateful and to see what all of you have inspired with your music.

Music is magic and musicians connecting from across the globe have whispered their benevolent spells in our ears and tapped into our souls, weaving us together into one fabric, a musical community that lives and breathes on the Steemit platform.

What started as a single idea inspired by a single song on a single post by a single user named @verbal-d, grew into an idea supported by a handful of musicians and a generous benefactor named @pfunk.

From humble beginnings great things grow. Music, the language of emotion, is universal, and did I mention magic?

One of the most magical things I've seen on this platform is watching the communities around music grow and mutually support each other, musically, creatively, and yes, even with an upvote.

Open Mic has inspired people to sing and play music every week and share it with the world and the world is listening and responding.

Here are a few music projects that have symbiotic relationships with Open Mic, each supporting the other. All of these projects have evolved independently and voluntarily. Common to them all is they all support musicians on Steemit.

Steemit Open Mic Trading Cards

For those who do not know, Cards & Tokens is organizing a Steemit Openmic card contest. The winners will be chosen based exclusively on the number of votes each card received. For that the competitors must first claim the authorship of their card, which will generate a new POST that will leave reflected on the steem blockchain the data of the card and thus it will be enabled to receive votes.

These are just a few of the music inspired projects happening on the platform. The musical community on Steemit is growing and thriving and I'm amazed at the talent we have here. It has been a joy to be part of this community and I look forward to many more years to come.
