Five decades ago, to get news from different parts of the world, news were printed in evening and distributed early in the morning. A long way process before the news dispersed.
In the year 70's and 80's, Filipinos who worked abroad sent messages to their family by mail using postage stamp or by telephone but telephone calls were expensive especially for overseas calls. The other means of communication used was the cassette tapes. The sender will record his/her voice, songs or messages to the loved ones abroad and record it on cassette tapes. These cassette tapes were sent through the post office mail that would take a week or more to reach the loved ones.

However, time passes and things have changed and so the communication media. From the start of 21st century, communication became very easy and not too expensive. Using Computers, smartphones, tablets, laptops and new devices for communication people can communicate their loved ones no matter how long they want without worrying the bills. One can send messages with no uses of postage and the message will be received right after it sent.
