The Ghost of The Sea (Short Story)

This incident belongs to Porbandar. This true incident is of a girl named Sonal. Sonal was born and raised in a middle-class family. Sonal was a smart student in her school days. It was Sonal's nature to obey every word of her parents. She used to help her parents whenever they need.

When Sonal was in 12th class, one-day her friend went to the banks of the coast of Porbandar, and both of the friends were very happy to soak the feet in the water at the beach. At that time, suddenly, a speedy wind was coming from the sea and, in a fraction of second the air passed through her body. Sonal was horrified because of this incident because Sonal saw a girl who looked like her who stroked Sonal's body and went through her body. This incident completely changed the girl. She used to remain silent and horrified most of the times.

Sonal used to see that girl at every time no matter if she is drinking, studying or even sleeping. After seeing a girl exactly like her she used to remain horrified and she got sick because of her fear. To save Sonal and solve all the problem Sonal's family spent lakhs of rupees in her treatment but nothing happened.

It is said that from today 35-40 years ago a girl used to study in the same college. And she suddenly disappeared. It is believed that some people associated with the college administration had raped and killed her. And some pieces of her body were buried in college grounds. And some of them were thrown off the coast.

The soul of the same girl keeps looking at Sonal. And wants justice for yourself. Sonal still experiences the shadow of that girl sometimes in her life. But now Sonal has learned to face her fear. And have understood this, that if such a tragic event has happened then people will know about the reality when the time comes. And the guilty will be punished.
