THE BABY COBRA.

Once there was a baby snake living with his father in a hole of a tree. The tree was nearby a lake. His father was the King Cobra and everyone was very scared of him. The baby wasnt yet ready to hunt, so his father always brought the food for him. Rats, Frogs, Birds, Squirrels etc.

The baby loved wandering around the lake but since it was the rainy season, he most of the time remained inside his hole. One evening when it wasn't raining, he headed out for a stroll. Suddenly it started to rain heavily. All the frogs were now out of the lake and they started croaking and jumping over the baby’s head. The baby snake got very scared and hurriedly went inside his hole.

When his father arrived, the baby very anxiously told him.

“Father, father listen to me, today when I went out in the evening, all those frogs from the lake attacked me! I was so scared…” sobs

“Are you hurt dear son?”

“No…not hurt. But they are always so scared of you! Then why did they attack me? Why aren't they scared of me too?”

“Because they don't know who you are .”

“What do I do now?”

“You wait. You wait till the day they are expecting it the least.”

“Expecting what the least?”

“Expecting YOU the least.”

“But, but I don't even know how to hunt… what will I do that day?”

“You will simply raise your hood….. and they'll know who you are.”

“Is that it?”

“For them, that is it.”

There are two morals of the story.

It doesn't matter how weak and powerless someone looks right now, just don’t make the mistake of underestimating that person. You can't trust anyone to be weak forever. Always remember that. - From the Frog’s perspective.

Others may look stronger than you right now, only because you are allowing it. Know yourself ,Wait for the right time, Get yourself ready, Raise your hood, and Show them what you really are! - From the Cobra's perspective.
