Museum of Transport - Automobile Center

There are many different buildings in this great museum. Today I will introduce you to the center for the history of automobiles. Here you can learn many little-known facts about the precursors of the first car models and how the technology developed. The coolest thing here is a special automobile cinema! 

Today they explained the origin of the shopping cart in an interesting film. It had been invented for the super market Humpty Dumpty originally. But did you know that today the German company Wanzl is the greatest producer of shopping carts worldwide?

But there is even more to see here. Old-timers, from the very first bike models to modern eBikes, old and new racing cars and much more. And they even have video games where you can actually navigate from within the car!

The next article of this series will be about the aircraft center - also very interesting for people who love flying and want to learn about about the first inventions of people to conquer the sky!

Whenever you come to Lucerne, a visit of the Museum of Transport is a must!
