First time I heard about Madagascar was in the Uni. My French teacher-Xavier, a Parisian, told us that he was born in Madagascar. In his words, Madagascar was a very cozy place. Going to the school or the beach was the most difficulty choice everyday for him. His words moved me, and I told him that I will visit his born place one day.

The official language of Madagascar is French, not a lot of people can understand English. So I recommend that you hire a tour guide, it will be much easier for you to enjoy Madagascar. Me and my friends can speak French, so "Pas de probleme".

This is our travel plan. From Antananarivo to Toliara, following the 7# Road. About 800 kilometers.
Before hitting on the road, travel inside the Capital could be a good idea.

People say it's dangerous at NIGHT in Madagascar, but I'm a night animal, can't help to sneak out to get some food and drinks.
