MARVEL v. WACOINDA
The name Wacoinda was selected from a democratic vote by members of The Black Coin Group’s name change initiative. The mission of Wacoinda is to educate its members and the community on strategies to overcome economic oppression by a marginalized people through love, respect, consistency and togetherness. Our group is predominantly African American, however we welcome all who share the same vision. We examine the Blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and other investment vehicles. We have our own coins called Garveys (Marcus Garvey) and CJs (Madam C J Walker). We host block parties every weekend after a long week of work and education. At these block parties, we play trivia, listen to music, hold contests, give away GVs AND maybe CJs to the winners. We are dubbed as the fastest growing black Facebook group. We have several spinoff groups to address our members concerns on such topics as Singles, Minning, Marketplace, Think Tank, Health, Travel, etc. We have something for everybody’s interest.
Marvel has requested an extension of time to determine if they will pursue a trademark enfringement of their name Wakanda. The movie Black Panther eludes to a fantasy place called Wakanda. Wacoinda is about economic education, love, togetherness, consistency and moving a marginalized people ahead from centuries of economic oppression. There are no similarities in the scope or mission of these two entities. Lamar Wilson and Lafe Taylor are the founders of Wacoinda. Their business is a small startup, Wilsondom, LLC out of Kentucky.
What would be an awesome gesture by Marvel is to join forces with Wilsondom, LLC to help eradicate economic oppression of all people. Marvel, come join our team and let’s make a difference in the lives of people who so dserve it.
If you can add value to our group, please come join us. We will love to have you!
