RE: The Wealth Triangle- Maximise Your Income, Minimise Your Tax and Boost Your Savings

While I'm reasonably sure you're the real deal, have you ever done any verification by crosslinking to Steemit? This will help in future curation efforts :)

Hi @pfunk. Admittedly my technological skills were overtaken about a decade ago and I'm in the process of playing catch up. I haven't verified by crosslinking but I will try to learn how to do this for future posts. I can state that the first photo was purchased through iStock and modified using my second ever attempt at Canva. The second was taken in my brother's attic for his new house. As for the content, it is definitely my own works flaws and all. :) Thanks for pointing out the crosslinking thing. Will attempt to do this prior to my next post. The styleguide for Markdown has become my new best friend!

By cross linking I just mean adding a link to Steemit (or even mention of Steemit) on your blog page or an established Twitter or other social account associated with you/your writings, if you have them.

I guess this is the same as backlinking? I'm assuming by doing this that Steemit content curators can then run some sort of techno-algorithm-thingy to scan for plagiarism. It's all new to me but I might try that next time on my Twitter feed or on Medium. Thanks @pfunk

Cool. It's nothing as sophisticated as that. :P Just people who want to prevent stealing and plagiarism, usually doing manual work. At least some link between accounts gives the ability to go back and see that a Steem account is the post's genuine author. If anyone wonders in the future, you can link to the tweet or Medium article where you verified.
