Hello, everyone! It feels amazing to reconnect with you all here on Steemit. It’s been a journey, and I believe it’s time to re-introduce myself, especially for those who have recently followed me or may not know my story yet.

My name is Hillary Byamugisha, a proud native of Uganda 🇺🇬. I was born and raised amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Kigezi region, a place of rolling, dramatic hills that rise near the tranquil shores of Lake Bunyonyi. This unique environment shaped my love for nature and became the foundation of my lifelong passion: wildlife photography.

At 26 years old, I find myself deeply inspired by the beauty, resilience, and diversity of the natural world. Capturing the raw, untamed spirit of wildlife through my lens has not only been an artistic journey but also a calling. It has motivated me to embrace conservation and to raise awareness about the delicate balance of life in the wild. I am also a junior safari guide taking travellers closer to wildlife and our traditional culture in Uganda.

Through this platform, I hope to share more than just photographs. I want to tell stories of majestic animals, hidden landscapes, and the interconnectedness of people and nature. And, perhaps most importantly, stories of giving back.

Life has taught me many lessons, but one of the most profound is that helping others brings true happiness.
