Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I return again to my roots, drawing in graphite pencil. I had some time without drawing in this style of drawing and traditional, so I felt like making a fan art of the healer of light, male for the World Of Xpiliar art contest, I had some time without participating in it. The truth is that whenever I make drawings in this style I enjoy them so much, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Vuelvo de nuevo a mis raíces, dibujando a lápiz grafito. Tenia un tiempo sin dibujar en este estilo de dibujo y a tradicional, así que me entraron las ganas de hacer un fan art del sanador de la luz, masculino para el concurso de arte de World Of Xpiliar, que tenia tiempo sin participar en el mismo. La verdad que siempre que hago dibujos en este estilo los disfruto tantísimo, espero les guste al igual que a mí.

I started making the first sketch of the character and I must say that this time I wanted to give him a drastic change, or well I don't know if I should call it that, I just wanted to make the character a little bit different than just making a portrait of him and that's it. I made a kind of oxygen mask for the character, don't ask me why, it just occurred to me and it really looks great hahaha.

Comencé haciendo el boceto inicio del personaje y debo decir que esta vez quise darle un cambio drástico, o bueno no se si llamarlo así, solo que si me entraron unas ganas de hacer al personaje un tanto distinto a solo hacer un retrato de el y ya. Le hice una especie de mascara de oxigeno al personaje, no me pregunten el por que, solo se me ocurrió y de verdad se ve super bien jajaja.

I added his “crown” in his hair and I also made the symbol that we can see in his clothes, because I feel that he didn't look like the character and I think that without those elements, he was a completely different character from the original. I looked for several references of oxygen masks on Pinterest because I had no idea how to make it.

Le agregue su "corona" en el cabello y también le hice el símbolo que podemos ver en su ropa, porque siento que no se veía parecido al personaje y creo que sin esos elementos, era un personaje completamente distinto al original. Busque varias referencias de mascaras de oxigeno en Pinterest porque no tenia la menor ideas de como hacerla.

When I have the sketch ready, what I do is to pass over it with a moldable eraser to remove the excess of graphite pencil and thus leave it cleaner for when I have to start detailing everything. To make the details what I do is to work with three different mechanical pencils, so I get to make a different line work for each area of the drawing, ie; I get to work thinner to thicker lines and so I give a little contrast and definition to the drawing.

Cuando tengo listo el boceto, lo que hago es pasar por encima de este un borrador moldeable para quitar el exceso de lápiz grafito y así dejarlo mas limpio para cuando tenga que comenzar a detallar todo. Para hacer los detalles lo que hago es trabajar con tres portaminas distintos, así consigo hacer un trabajo de lineas distinto para cada zona del dibujo, es decir; logro trabajar lineas delgadas a mas gruesas y así le doy un poco de contraste y definición al dibujo.

At the end I added some shadows with a graphite pencil and blurred them a little and it gave a striking touch to the drawing. The last thing I did was to add some glitter all over the drawing and that's it folks, that would be it.

Al final le agregue algunas sombras con un lápiz grafito y las difumine un poco y vaya que le dio un toque llamativo al dibujo. Lo ultimo que hice fue agregar algunos brillos en todo el dibujo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
