YouTube De-Incentivizing Channels Left & Right

The issue here is that not only are videos that only a saint would deem controversial, but videos that are not controversial at all are being demonitzed....gameplay videos, a video of a dog show, etc.
Oh....but you can request an appeal! BUT only if that video has had 1000 views with that last 28 days. So this will directly kill up & coming social commentary channels.
Mostly it appears to be any channel that is either conservative or anti-SJW in nature, regardless of their political leanings. That is, unless you are a huge corporate channel like CNN, then you'd be safe
