Yeah, I kinda feel bad for them... I don't think they ever could have imagined the huge uptick in action when they launched. I think it's really important for new developers to go through a normal project life-cycle... development, internal testing, external testing, closed alpha testing, pilot and then beta. These days, beta really needs to be practically the finished product because when the hype train rolls through, you've got to be ready.... so many products have their spike of users come in, play, and fall away before they ever exit beta.
exactly , they never really did go thru a beta phase as before they even did their first announcement so many of the steemian addicts were already playing. from what i understood their testing phase was only between their own internal team and when they had an influx of users, a lot of other challenges came up.
it was actually good for them to get all the problems early and roll thru it as fast as possible. i'm sure that the devs will keep on improving the gameplay . i'm sure that as long as they keep on trying to improve , the real players will always be there to support
