Steem Total Value Powered Up - $46 million - February 20, 2022
This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.
Noteworthy in the last week,
- With new highs on 5 days and daily increases on 6 days, the powered-up STEEM stands at about 147 3/4 million.
- As a percentage of market cap, today's download matched the highest observed percentage, 37 1/2%.
- The modeled value for powered-up STEEM was down this week against USD, SBD, ETH, and TRX.
- The modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained strength against BTC and LTC this week.
- The total number of STEEM powered-down declined from 630K last week to 540K this week.

Daily Changes
Here is a chart of daily changes in powered-up STEEM from April 11 to present. The graph also includes a linear trend line and a 28 day moving average.
Here are some descriptive statistics, for numbers geeks.
VESTED STEEM
This week saw six out of seven daily increases and also new highs on five of those days. This is the seventh consecutive week with a clear upward slope.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD
In terms of USD, we saw a weekly decrease of approximately $4 million, or 8%. The value remains above its summertime and more recent lows.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Tron (TRX)
Tron gained strength against powered-up STEEM by 39 million tokens, or about 5%. The total continues to linger just below the 800 million line.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars
Down by about 400k SBDs, or 4% this week.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap
Up slightly again this week and holding steady above the 37% line. We have now seen 21 consecutive days above 37%, 51 consecutive days above 36%; 148 consecutive days above 35%; 191 consecutive days above 34%; and 211 straight days above 1/3. Also, the graph has started to reestablish an upward-seeming slope in recent weeks. Today's download matched the previous high at 37.5%. Will it hold above 37%? Will it reach new highs or even go above 38%?
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)
Up by about 8 BTC, or just under 1%, during the week.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Ethereum
Down by about 200 ETH, or 1%, in the last week.
Modeled value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Litecoin
Powered-up STEEM gained strength by about 15K LTC, or 4%. Still hanging around the 400k - 500k band.
Daily Powerdown Activity
Here is graph with data from steemdb.io to show daily completed and pending powerdown activity. Overall, with about 540k powered down last week and 505k pending, we can expect an overall decrease in powerdowns by about 6% or more in the coming week.
The horizontal lines are the average values for completed (blue) and pending (cyan) powerdowns, and the yellow line is a 28 day moving average of completed powerdowns.

It's nice that the PowerDown count is down. As the price of Steem drops, I think the amount of PowerDown will decrease.
Seeing the trend of the recent steem exchange rate, I don't think it's anything to worry about, even the steem exchange rate a month ago was lower than the current exchange rate. However, the steem exchange rate rose again after that.
Powerdown does affect the price slightly, but it can still be offset by the amount of steem power from steemian who maintains #club100, #club75 or club75. Many people on the platform will probably join #club100 after seeing sc01's support for #club100.
I think, the price of steemit is an opportunity to buy steem.
Let's invite investors to buy steem in the market. The method? Many steemians have to work a lot promoting steem through social media.

I'm not sure if I understand your post, but if you're saying that you lost your tron when you were trying to link your steemit wallet it to a tronlink wallet, maybe this document will help: Step by step Guide to Link Steemit Tron to TronLInk wallet (import your TRON account to manage TRX assets.). It's not something I have personal eperience with, but if you still have the PDF document with the private key, you might be able to recover the assets.
@primevaldad had this problem about 5 months ago, and was eventually able to regain access to his TRX.

we are in a very bad time. Cryptoralar is falling. War rumors are affecting Steem as well as all coins. Steem price is too low, this is not what it deserves. We can increase the price by making more powerups.
The crypto market is going down again but not steem( steem has uptren) still now I’m waiting for a big pump.
BTC price is increasing now. $37k was a correction level of BTC and I hope It will continue to increase till $45k. Thank you so much for this deep analysis.
