Steem Total Value Powered Up - $83 million - October 24, 2021
This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.
Noteworthy in the last week,
- Approval of several Bitcoin-related ETFs led to market strength for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
- The total number of powered-up STEEM was below recent highs for most of the week, but today it climbed back to a new high since I started daily downloads on April 10.
- The value of Powered-up STEEM as a percentage of market capitalization displayed volatility, dropping below 36% before rising above 37% for the first time since I started tracking this on May 14, then settling back in the 36-37% range again for the last couple days.

VESTED STEEM
With today's new high, this is up by about 600,000 since last week.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD
Down by about $350,000 from last week at the time of today's download.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of tron (TRX)
Up by 12 million from last week, floating around the 800 million line all week long.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars
Down by half a million, not quite 5%, since last week.
Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap
Up a touch, but basically unchanged since last week. 5 consecutive days above 36%; 29 consecutive days above 35%; 72 consecutive days above 34%; and 92 straight days above 1/3. Will it hold above 36%? Will we go above 37% again?
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin gained strength rapidly early in the week, but the Powered-up STEEM pool clawed it back later in the weeek, ending the week basically unchanged.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of ethereum
Down by 1,200, or roughly 5 1/2% as compared to last week.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin
Down by about 3% or 12,000 from last week.

Over the past three weeks it seems that the exchange rate of steem to usd has been stable, between $0.52 - $0.63. I think this shows the durability of steem is getting stronger. Thank you for always updating this important information.

During these 2 weeks the steem exchange rate was stable, there was no significant exchange rate strengthening. Looks like we all have to strengthen promo-steem on various social media, in order to attract new investors.
But I'm always optimistic, steem is a profitable investment choice
