Our Trip To Acapulco Mexico

Acapulco not as dangerous as we thought or as the media made us feel. Our trip began from Queretaro Mexico we drove 7 hours to Acapulco. As soon as we arrived we could see large coconut fields. The culture is so amazing as you pass through down town Acapulco you just want to see more. Once we arrived at our family's home we jumped on the four wheeler's and took off to the beach. Fresh coconuts were $15 pesos prepared with a straw in a little market area we found, which was a great deal compared to beach prices at $50 pesos each. Later in the week we took a 6 hour boat tour for $4,500 pesos to a private island and swam and ate right at the beach. Our once in a lifetime vacation was such a great experience we will deeply miss Acapulco.
