It was a great family day and one that we have been talking about and will talk about for a while to come I think. Many happy memories. I'm very proud of Frankie, and all of us too.

I have been teaching for half a lifetime, leading expeditions for a decade or so, and running Scouts / Explorers for over 5 years, so these days it is odd if I go and do anything without 30 children in tow :-)

Great idea about Steemit posts and word count. I had been thinking of it, especially that it would be nice to tally up all of the writing to remind myself that I am keeping up a steady output.

Thanks for the Discord tips - I use Discord for other things and so I probably should check out these Steemit communities as well. :-)
