Beauty Of Weh Island

Pulau Weh is very famous for its ecosystem. The Indonesian government has determined the territory to be 60 km² from the edge of the island, both in and out as nature reserves. The unique shark of a big mouthed can be found on the beach of this island. In addition, there are also endangered frogs, namely Bufo valhallae (genus Bufo). Coral reefs around the island are known as the site of various species of fish.

Weh Island is also arguably a small volcanic island located in the northwestern island of Sumatra, because the island was once connected to the island of Sumatra. While Sabang is an important dock since the end of the 19th century, because this city is the entrance to the Strait of Malacca.

On this island there are four small islands that surround it, namely Klah Island, Rubiah Island, Seulako Island, and Rondo Island. Among the four islands, the island of Rubiah is the most famous, because there is a place of diving tourism, and the beauty of the coral reefs it has.

Zero Kilometer monument is located on the cliff side as high as 22.5 meters above the water surface of this island. This monument faces directly to the Indian Ocean, so we will not find any land anymore as far as the eye can see.
