Kebuntuan ketika mengawali paragraf di awal tulisan sering kali mengahambat seorang penulis untuk berkreasi.

Terkadang banyak mereka menganggap ada kiat-kiat khusus ketika memilih dan memilah kalimat awal. Padahal, kita cukup mengetahui jenis-jenis dasar pemikiran dalam paragraf. Seperti deduktif, induktif, dan campuran.

Sometimes many people think there are special tips when choosing and sorting out the initial sentence. In fact, we simply know the basic types of thinking in the paragraph. Such as deductive, inductive, and mixed.

Kita mulai dengan deduktif. Deduktif adalah pola dasar paragraf menggunakan kalimat topik di awal paragraf dan sekurangnya diikuti empat kalimat pelengkap/pendukung.

Kemudian induktif, adalah dasar pemikiran yang menempatkan kalimat topik di akhir paragraf dengan dilengkapi kalimat pendukung/pelengkap sebelumnya sekurangnya empat kalimat.

We begin deductively. Deductive is the archetype of the paragraph using the topic sentence at the beginning of the paragraph and at least followed by four complementary/supporting sentences.

Then inductive, is the rationale that puts the topic sentence at the end of the paragraph with supplementary supporting/complementary sentences at least four sentences.

Dan terakhir pola campuran. Adalah pola paragraf yang menempatkan kalimat topiknya di awal dan di akhir.
