My happy day

Firs and foremost, I would like to start my writing with this photo, because it was my happy day.

Four years ago, I couldn’t have imagined myself standing right before them, decked in office wear. I was still the wide-eyed freshman, nervously navigating my way around this campus which I’d later call home. I was only 18, unsure of what the future lies ahead, leaving the comforts of my home and my family, and all alone stepping into a rather unfamiliar territory. But four years later, here i am today, smiling widely and standing right next to these people who deservingly commanded respect from my peers and lecturers alike. Never would I have imagined that this day would come, that I would be sitting right before them as they earnestly listened to my speech, a culmination of the years of knowledge I’ve gained from these very same people. I learnt so many things in college, made many friends, some who I considered as my family and of course gave a whole new level of respect to the Lecturers, and my supervisors who worked tirelessly to ensure that my learning in university is a fulfilling one. Alhamdulillah, praises be to God. As I close this memorable chapter in life and embark on the next chapter called adulthood, I am filled with gratitude for this academic journey has made me a better person and humbled me as a student.
Thank you to the two iron women in my academic life for your nurturing words and firm guidance. Not forgetting thanks to the secretary for completing the panel of examiners and ensuring that the grading of my skripsi examination was a fair one. And of course to all my friends. This gratitude post goes it to you.
