Basic security on steem

Hello friends am glad to let you know that am now conversant with the functions of the keys, for instance;

POSTING KEYS

Posting keys are used for every day logins,to make comments, post massages ,edit vote,resteem,follow, or mute other accounts.

ACTIVE KEY

Active key on the other hand is used for fund transfer, power ups and down,conversions, convert of steem dollars, voting of witnesses, updating profile details and avatar,and for placing market orders.

OWNER KEY

Owner Key is used when the need arise like ;to change any of the account keys including the owner key.it should be stored offline and used only when one's account is compromised.

MEMO KEY

Memo key on its own is used for encrypting or decrypting the memos sent along with fund transfer.

MASTER KEY

Master key is used to generate all other keys ,it is also used for recovering one's account therefore it must be kept safe offline. Owner key can be written down on a piece of paper in a private place .

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM TOKEN

First, click on the down arrow next to steem token held in the wallet section of one's account, then click "
Transfer "in dropdown box.
Second, enter the name of the account to whom you may wish to make the transfer ,followed by the number of tokens and a memo then click Next.
Finally, enter a memo on the confirmation screen and click Ok to confirm.

HOW TO POWER UP STEEM

Use the same dropdown box at the Transfer next to the steem number,select power up,enter the quantity of steem,click power up.
