PLAGIARISM

This is an act of stealing or pirating one's idea or article. Music, videos, beats, movies, novels and so on can be plagiarised. In other to avoid being held against plagiarism, references must be made to the owners of such idea or content.
Most people especially student find it difficult to make up their own work so they rely on ideas or contents from cites. Am not against using a persons idea to make up a work but references and citation page must be made on such works.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism are of different types and today we will be discussing on a few of them.

  1. Self plagiarism: This is kind of funny due to the fact that a person literally copies his previous work there by making it impossible for the audience to pick up new information.
  2. Accidental plagiarism: This is quite explanatory. In this type of plagiarism, a person mistakenly copies someone else content.
  3. Direct plagiarism: I regard this as a plane plagiarism because in this case every word and mark that makes up a person work is totally copied.
  4. Complete plagiarism: This happens among content creators when an article of another is completely copied and broadcasted.
  5. Paraphrasing plagiarism: This is very cunny and tricky in the sense that words are replaced causing a change to the copied article. This is one of the mostly used plagiarism as it is common among student.
  6. Mosaic plagiarism: This occurs when ideas or contents are copied from different sites to form up a work. This is also used mostly by student during project or assignment.

Few tips to avoid plagiarism

.Use quotation mark and give references to the source
.Record the bibliographic details of sources accurately.
.Dont forget to use a citation page.

It is very important for one to always give reference to the original owners of an idea or article. This shows a sign of respect and saves one from being punished for plagiarism.
