Types of Markdowns includes but not limited to the following;

  1. HEADINGS
Headings plays an important role in a context by communicating the important parts of a context. Headings make a context look arranged and easier for readers to read.
The hashtag symbol (#) is used in steem to make headings.
The hashtag symbol (#) is inserted before the heading, and don't forget to always put a space between the hashtag and the heading.
  • Note: How bold a heading is depends on the number of # used, increase in the number of # used decreases the heading and vise versa.
    E.g:

Eg.

Outcome:

‘‘Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission’’.

  1. TEXT JUSTIFICATION
Text justification simple means text alignment. Justification makes a context look very arranged.

Eg.

Outcome with justification:
‘‘Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission’’. The literal meaning of the word ‘inferior’ according to any dictionary is: ‘lower in rank, status, or quality.’ Inferior means lower in position.

  1. CREATION OF A TABLE
I'll be demonstrating one of the ways a table can be created and it is the easiest way.
    E.g:

Outcome:

Header 1Header 2Header 3Header 4
Cell 1Cell 2Cell 3Cell 4
Cell 5Cell 6Cell 7Cell 8
Cell 9Cell 12Cell 11Cell 12

NOTE: You can add as many headers and cells you want depending on the number of rows and columns u want.

  1. BLOCKQUOTES-QUOTES
Quotes and block blockquotes are used to indicate another person's writings.
In applying blockquotes we use the > symbol in front of the text which indicates that the text is another person's own.
The “” symbols are used for normal quote.
