열매 없는 흙에 거름이 없이 잘 자라는 아카시아나무는 식물로서 목재로서의 가치가 크다고 한다.
소재는 기본적으로 참나무만큼 단단하지만 몇 배나 빨리 자라며 등산로용 시트, 어린이 정글짐용 미끄럼틀, 가구로 널리 활용되고 있습니다.
