Hello, steemit!
Hello, steemit!
I am is russian student. My homeland is Volgograd (Stalingrad in past). This sity is very big and long, its length is 90 kilometers along the Volga river. It is sity of contrast. Its center is quite pleasant and beautiful, although most of buildings is built in 30 - 60 years ago. The old houses is very rare, because my sity was very heavy damaged in the battle for Stalingrad. But its periphery can be unfavorable - a roads is broken, a buildings is dilapidated and a rubbish around.
Volgograd is interesting sity. It has the many landmarks. The most biggest among them is memorial complex "The Mamaev Kurgan". This landmark was built in 1967. The symbol of this landmark is the sculpture "The Motherland" 85 meters in height. This photo made in summer-2013:
I study in the Volgograd State University, in the cathedra of biology. It locate in separate smoll building. This cathedra is very interesting because in this institution the many interesting peoples study and the several good scientists work. In studying process we learn various knowledges, and in summer we travel into different wild places: Crimea mountains, Caucasian mountains, Kazakhstan deserts...
This is our biological corpus. In the past (ten years before this moment) it was deserted kindergarten and its guise isn`t presentable, but we improve it gradually. This photo made in autumn of 2016:
And this is kasakhstan`s cretaceous semidesert, this plase we visited in last year:
My favorite hobby is photographing different living organisms, primarily insects and spiders. This microanimals were become interesting for me back in the school days. Usually, people think that insects and spiders is small, nasty and insignificant forms of life. But this thinking is deep error. Arthropods is very large, complex and curious taxonomical group and many of this even beautiful quite. My favorite wish is traveling into the Amazon rainforest because its ecosystem is the richest biotope of the Earth... On the example a several my photos:
The butterfly-Polyxena (Zerynthia polyxena)
The orange spotted leaf beetle (Cryptocephalus laevicollis)
The emerald bug (Palomena viridissima)
The mizgir, or south-russian tarantula (Lycosa singoriensis)
The noble brilliant wasp (Hedychrum nobile)
My purpose here is demonstration beaity of living organisms. In the near time, a photographes will be core materials of my posts, because my knowledges of english quite low (I wrote in this text several hours and used dictionary continuously).
I went in this project from its russian double Golos.io. Just wondering how live in here. And I must to advance my english. Do you want know what is Golos.io? I say short. Golos.io is the russian chaos in pure form. I mean good meaning of this words )))
The spring is coming!
