It happens to me when I have no pockets and have to put my phone in a bag. I've also had many times where I pressed the back button and switched the app off without realising it. That's very frustrating too!
This is why I really like the fitbit. I actually broke mine at work and am in the process of replacing it. It takes the stress out if actifit. It is awesome that actifit syncs with fitbit.
I know what you mean. My fitbit is broken too but, for now, I have no plans to replace it.
