Great @actifit step count of 13600! As for the salt; it will leave a white residue on the deck that will look unsightly and would need washing off. I don't imagine it'd be all that good for it, plus you will track the salt indoors if you go out on it. I wouldn't do it. As for the tarp, it's going to be weighty and maybe hard to move to dump. Decks are tough if you don't want to shovel. Anyway, have a lovely evening!
