Happy Sunday 😊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Happy holidays and Merry Xmas. And as always a day of gratitude and appreciating all the good things in our lives 💯.
For me it's been another ordinary day and it's now time to break down how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
As always thank you for reading and let's dive in 💨.
I began my day with some stretching moves before heading out for a walk around the neighborhood and park. It was chilly but I was dressed appropriately with thick gloves too😹.
After about 20 minutes, I was back indoors ready to deal with the usual house chores including laundry and cooking.
The afternoon saw me indoors checking out some YouTube videos and also trending news from around the world.
There were also some interesting matches in the EPL. Liverpool are on fire🔥😹.
My final walk was in the evening, dark and cloudy rainy sunset. I walked for a short while around the neighbourhood before the drizzling got stronger and I had to head back indoors.
As usual the blood bath continued in Gaza with 32 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes across the strip😿.. In the north Israel has ordered doctors, medical staff and at least 80 patients to leave the Kamal Adwan hospital🙀.
The cold 🥶 and damp weather is adding to the misery of Palestinians as don't have tents or blankets😿.
Not far off, Turkish FM Hakan Fidan, has had first public press conference with Syria's HTS leader Ahmed Al Sharaa. He has called for lifting of global sanctions on Syria.
Adding that Syria has no room for Kurdish fighters from PKK or YPG🙀.
In the other war, Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region are being confronted by Russian forces. Russian forces claiming to have destroyed a Ukrainian weapons depot.
Serbia trending as tens of thousands of people streamed into central square in the capital Belgrade.
The rally against populist president Aleksandar Vucic and his govt whose tight grip on power has been challenged by weeks of street protests led by university students🙀.
In Germany, the man who drove into a crowd at Christmas market in Magdeburg has appeared in court. Being charged with 5 counts of murder and 200 counts of attempted murder and causing dangerous body harm.
He was from Saudi Arabia but had a history of anti Islamic rhetoric🙀.
Finally from Asia, China says US is playing with fire by giving Taiwan more military aid😹. This after Washington announced more military aid and sales to Taiwan.
