2 Days till my half marathon and My Actifit Report Card: November 16 2018
I usually go to the gym before work on a Friday but I decided not to as I’m doing parkrun tomorrow and thought I really could do with a rest day before the half I’m doing Sunday. I’m feeling really nervous about Sunday as I haven’t done much running for a few weeks and I’m starting to have self doubt. My youngest boy is running it too and he has never run that distance so I’m worrying about him too. He’s either going to do really well and make me feel worse about myself or really struggle and I do badly as I’ll want to stay with him to get him round so he at least finishes.
Why do we sign up for these races? They are so stressful!
No matter how high your peak is: what matters is to commit yourself to reach it?

Hope the run goes well and the weather is good to you. I'm thinking of doing another half next year, but I need to get over a bug first. I'll try to keep the miles up over the winter.
Thank you, this will be my 3rd half marathon, this race last year was my first so I’m hoping I get a pb but I have been struggling lately. Hope you feel better soon x
