Renewing My Interest In Exercise With A Changed Approach — September 7 2019
Today I decided to change my approach to working out. It will be a one month experiment with the approach of minimum effective intensity—basically a few moments of near maximum exertion to reach muscle failure quickly. This’ll followed up with ample nutrition and recovery.
I had stumbled into a similar routine a few years ago and was pretty happy with the improvements in strength and physique. This time it will be somewhat better researched and more intentional. I hope it works to keep me interested and motivated.
Also I caught some wild turkeys wandering around my neighborhood. Let’s take it for a good sign.
Best of luck. Light gains make heavy purses. I don’t do more than body weight resistance like pushups and run a mile, moderate intensity. If you throw in a rest day, I can see you experiencing some change. I’ve seen it in myself.
Thanks!
I'm trying something's similar right now... Let's see what the results are in a month time.
Cool, I hope it goes well for you!
