This is my advice for anyone who's planning to improve his/her acting skill!
Little about my XP in acting:
I have been on the stage for more than 13 years starting from small school plays to doing standup, performing in corporative parties and filming in films like
like
My question to You dear reader is this:
Have you ever seen thos guys\ladys who dress up like movie characters and entertain kids at parties?
For example, this handsome fellow:
Or this:
(This character's name was Professor ACID, and It was a gig in a pharmaceutical company, probably because DR. Hofman was just too straight)
To act as a famous movie character is not that hard because all of them have some traits that relay stand out like the way bugs bunny talks or how a professor is super passionate about science and often acts like he is out of this world.
It takes 5 min to understand your character or if you have some spare time just watch the movie and then try to act it out.
If you will be natural in your character then all the kids will scream in joy and the parents will thank you after wards
If not then there will be a lot of confusion and the kids are going to be disappointed.
You get to work with other actors
In a week I have met 2 actors who work in theaters and as you know YOUR NET WORTH IS YOUR NETWORK then it comes in handy when you are trying to get into acting or rolls in movies!
I strongly recommend you try this if you struggle to understand your character from famous writers as Dostojevski, Shiller, Shakespeare require a lot of practice!
Do you think I should make this a weekly series where I share my experience in acting and performance?
Thank you for reading and enjoy your day, you beautiful sea creature! :)
