The Government Doesn't Protect The People, So we must be the Protectors.
In my recent experience I have seen police and government act in a way which betrays the trust of the people, and protects illegal construction of dangerous infrastructure.
I have seen police violence lead to people becoming handicapped and disabled, I have seen police violence and deception lead to the incarceration of innocent people.
I have seen some sh*t.
The role of government allegedly, is to support the public interest, and use our good will to uphold the rule of law, and provide for those less fortunate, but that is far from the reality I perceive, in my experience the role of government is to disenfranchise and silence the voices of descent, the role of government is to exploit and distract, while allowing the unethical and illegal behavior of their corporate handlers.
Government seems more concerned with extracting value from citizens and nature, they seem to cater to the corporations which bank role campaigns, while blatantly seizing of resources which could benefit those same corporations.
So how do we stand in the face of "a perfect marriage of corporation and state"?
How do we seek a redress of grievances when our voices are violently silenced?
Is there a peaceful, prayerful, legal solution for these issues which we face as a society?
I believe so, I believe we posses the ability to affect change "in a good way" with an ethical approach to unethical government.
I believe we can humanize police, and reclaim our good will from a government which fails to recognize the value of a fair, just, and liberated society, we can do this through our love of each other, we can change this world through mutual aid, seeing each other as worthy, and seeing the value of our fellows in this world as being great enough to uphold and support.
I believe the solution to fascist america is to render our good will to each other with reckless abandon, and never render good will to oppressive forces.
We can make this world better, together.
Unity In Truth.
Government denatures everything. We are not meant to rule others.
