Sexual drive myth

Dear brothers,

There's absolutely nothing with you if the maximum duration of bedroom action your body can deliver is between 3 - 7 minutes.

If it were below two minutes, there might be a cause for concern. But if you can average five minutes following several rounds of sex, you're a complete human being by verifiable medical standards.

Please, don't allow social media trolls make you feel less of a man for what they term "subpar sexual performance". As our faces are different, so are our individual limitations and capabilities. Hence, kindly make it a point of duty to operate within your range.

As long as you're hitting the right spots and angles, then there's no point losing sleep over what others may think. Besides, none of these cyber bullies has ever released a video verifying their virility, so why give them a chance to frustrate you? Those with afflictions are often the quickest to boast about their sexual prowess in the cyber bedroom. Reality, however, exposes the fraud they are.

Moreover, you also need to ask yourself relevant questions. What makes a man impotent? His inability to satisfy his partner or the overall duration of his bedroom action?

I've come across numerous medical fora where women expressed their dislike for men who lasted too long in bed, with 10 - 15 minutes being considered the maximum allowable duration for sex. On the other hand, there are women who prefer men with pump action and shaka bula.

Therefore, what's good for the goose may not necessarily be good for the gander. Different strokes, different folks.

The common ground lies in finding a partner who can either match or accommodate your sex drive. Anything short of that and you could end up being on the receiving end of infidelity or sex-induced emotional trauma.

If you feel you're not doing well enough under the sheets, seek informed medical counsel from a qualified health practitioner. Seeking medical help to remedy poor sexual performance bears no stigma. It's totally within your right. You deserve to be happy, as does your partner.

And for those who binge on locally-prepared sexual enhancement drugs or concoctions in order to prove a point, my heart goes out to you. Keep at it. Sooner or later, you'll find what you're looking for.

It's quite easy to claim an ultra sexual performance status in public, particularly in the absence of those who can either confirm or deny such claims. Also, we all know how well social media enlivens our true individual strengths and in the same vein, masks our inherent weaknesses.

Summarily, don't give room for anyone to railroad your happiness. Sex is just one out of many good things you can enjoy in life.

Find your match and prosper, unless you want to die. 😭
