Some of us would never sell the time they have for their family, hobbies, soul and passions, some would. There is no rule.

I prefer to spend as much time with my closest family as possible. I don’t want to judge anyone, but people preferring to value their time for other things than their family, hobby...will eventually one day get old and will regret many things, but it might as well be already too late. It’s very important to have a balance in a way you value your time. Value of your time with your family is priceless.

Person's self-esteem might drop because they've never built a life outside their working environment. This is one of the reasons why some people have a problem when retiring from their jobs...

That’s exactly my point. Know your priorities. Not everything is about money 💵, or about work. At the end you don’t live to work, you work to live!
