RE: ADSactly Culture - Recurring Figures in European Mythology
It’s always confused me about the differences in the Irish and Scottish myth. They’re both Celtic nations but when I try finding specific connections to Scotland the most I find are creatures or giants, never Gods. I’m I being stupid or does Scotland have a connection to or it’s own pantheon?
From what I know, the god that were once revered in what is now Scotland are the same Celtic gods as in the rest of the island. I suppose the stories that have formed, or warriors, giants and other such creatures might be a bit different, you know, pertaining to the different area.
Very interesting question, thank you for commenting.
