RE: ADSactly Culture - Recurring Figures in European Mythology

in #adsactly6 years ago

So much to learn from different mythology. For sure , europeans have many tale to tell and all of them were quite fascinated to listen. I loved the tale of three, in continuation to that , i would love to share about the three god in Hindu mythology. Often worshiped together and known as traymbekeshwar. They are Lord Brahma , Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. These are known as the creator of the universe, the life giver and the destroyer.
Pretty amazing how the concept of three are found and common in many places across the globe. I was not aware about the Morrigon ...the crow faced and as said it looked as they depicts the three stages of our life. And again about the Moirai.
I have seen the movies about Thor or Hercules. All these were carried forwarded since ages and always felt good to listen. They are the myth or real but feel good to know more about them.
Thanks for sharing about all of them.

Yes, I had read about the three god in Hindu myth as well and it's all so fascinating. I wonder where this idea came from, because it must come from somewhere, since it's present in all these varied cultures.
While the movies are fun, I wouldn't really recommend them for information, as they're not really all that accurate. You know, the focus being on entertainment rather than accuracy :)

Thank you for commenting!
