Tropical Beach Camping, Foraging & Spearfishing [3 Minute Video]

in #adventure7 years ago (edited)

On a paradise island with a speargun, a machete, and a drone.

I've done this beach camping trip four times now, and I always meant to make a video but just never got around to it. Part of the problem was that I never filmed enough. We spend almost the entire day working to get food out here, and the little free time we have we just want to explore and play. Plus the sand and the salt make bringing out the cameras and drone a nightmare. Being on Steemit has me feeling pretty inspired though, so I figured I'd give it a go. It's not my usual video style and it's my first time doing a voiceover like this. I hope you guys like it!

This looks amazing. I like your choice of music in this video. I believe getting enough food to feed the whole group must be challenging. However, it looks delicious. Great job!

Guys, is it fair to vote at your own comment?

I did not steal the money, I invested it with my salary and earned it with my posts. I am sorry it looks the way it does.

I'm just curious how things work I've been here for a couple days.

To me it is not about 40 cents I make but I would like to have more Steemians noticing me and my blog. I want to share my work with wider public and this is one way of doing so while I admire others work.
Good luck on Steemit! You are lucky you are in, few of my friends who signed up are still not registered although they signed up few weeks ago.

self upvoting will always have that discussion im okay with that, maybe another hardfork will strengthen the community and rewarding upvoting others a bit better.

Love the video mate!!! You can't go wrong with spearfishing. I have to post some of my go pro dives!

Nice! I follow you so I'll be looking for it. If you have a Mac you already have iMovie and it's really easy and intuitive. I've still never gotten footage shooting a fish. Somehow whenever I bring the GoPro the vis is shit.

Can you take those bugs year round in Florida?

This is so interesting, thanks for this good quality post

Amazing shots! What's your equipment and what program do you use to edit your videos? Check out my blog and follow if you like as well :-)

Thanks. It's GoPro Hero 4 Black, iPhone 7 Plus, Canon 100d, DJI Mavic Pro, and there are a few shots from my friend's iPhone 6. Edited in Final Cut Pro X.

What a beautiful place. Passionate
