Adventure series #1: Forks of the Credit Provincial Park - Featuring @bitdollar

So the first stop of my adventure series this summer took my to a beautiful place called Forks of the Credit Provincial Park.
The first landmark you pass along the path is the meadow you see below. We happened to go on a day when the weather was absolutely perfect.

After skirting along this small lake for about 15minutes the path leads into the forest section of the trail. This is where the real hiking starts to take place.

After about a 30minute hike up and down hills and a few water breaks we finally made it to the main attraction.

Of course I had to get as close as possible. In order to get to the base of the falls you really needed to deviate from the path and get a little dirty. Well worth it.

At the top of the falls there are the ruins of a building that used to be there. Apart of the ruins was a ledge that allowed me to get right to the very edge of the falls and look down. It was about a foot and a half wide. Let's just say vertigo was kicking in hard. I took my selfie and left.

The trail out was about a 30-40min hike through woods and grass land.
Overall this spot blew my expectations out of the water. It was far more beautiful than I even imagined. I will probably visit this spot again in the future. Hope you enjoyed and if you have the opportunity check it out yourself.
