RE: Palm Beach Adventure | Palm Beach Beauty

It was amazing. It was sensory overload for sure! We loved the restaurants!! Being vegan has changed my life. Through my own studying and being affirmed by my sister (a doctor) I have learned too much to go back. For me eatting meat would be like knowing if you hit your hand with a hammer you are going to break it...but then continuing to hit it....and buying new and bigger hammers. I am consciously choosing to over come family programming and I jumped in with both feet! My dad is a stroke and open heart surgery patient, and I convonced hom to do a 3 week vegan challenge. He stuck with it and 6 months later he was down 50 lbs and his heart doctor told him that if he kept doing it he would be able to get off of ALL of his medicine!

Sensory overload is a great way to describe the Vegas strip all lit up at night, you said it perfectly. :D
I'm not a huge vegetable fan, the only veggies I really eat are carrots, corn, onions, potatoes, sometimes tomatoes and on rare occasions green beans or peas. I'm willing to try most things once though, as long as they aren't one of my food allergies. :D
I'm glad your dad is doing better and has lost so much, good for him. :D I bet he'll be really happy when he doesn't need his medications anymore. :D I've almost completely cut soda pop/cola (I have a half cup when we go out for dinner, to go with my popcorn if we go to the movie theater for a show, or as a special treat when I'm really craving the sugar) out and lost 30 pounds since last winter (full disclosure, I've gained 3 pounds back since then), and I feel better than I did this time last year as well. :D
Its funny how these exclusions, be they pop or meat, make a huge difference in our quality of life that we hope for, but don't really expect, when we decide to exclude them. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
