Hi Everyone,

Back again for another week of Captains Candidates.

Here I will again recommend my 4 best choices for the C this weekend in Fantasy.

We start with a changing of the guard:

Jack Macrae (Western Bulldogs)

Macrae is fast becoming the new king of AFL Fantasy and he has now overtaken Mitchell as the most reliable choice for the C.

Macrae scored another whopping 155 points last week and is the first player for 2018 to pass the 1000 Fantasy points mark.

Macrae now has 1037 points for the year in total to be the highest ranked player.

The Dogs do have a difficult assignment this week, playing the Crows in Adelaide but I don't think this will slow Macrae's scoring down as the football just seems to follow him at the moment.

He is now my number 1 choice for the C is you are lucky enough to own him.

Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn)

His 58 worries me and could Mitchell be starting to have a little problem with taggers?

The great man has a lot of credit built up in the bank so he remains in the Captaincy conversation for now but he is no longer my number 1 safe choice.

Mitchell will enjoy playing the Lions this week and will get nowhere near as close attention so he should be back to his ball winning way.

Whilst you may be a little nervous on doing it, put the C on him this week if you don't own Macrae.

He will looking to redeem himself against the lowly Lions and will no doubt have a big one.

Ed Curnow (Carlton)

Not the most fashionable choice for Captaincy and often has run with roles but the raw stats do not lie.

Curnow is now the 2nd highest ranked player in AFL Fantasy with 958 points banked so far.

He is fresh off a massive 142 last week and I can no longer deny him a spot on this list!

The Blues play the Demons at the G this weekend and whilst it will be a tough match for Carlton, there is no reason why Curnow can't continue to go about his business.

If you happen to own him, it might be time to trust him with the Big C.

Adam Treloar (Collingwood)

Treloar is back in form for the Pies and on the back of his 113 last week, he has now moved inside the Top 10 Fantasy scorers list.

I have included his in the mix for Captaincy this week as he is going to enjoy playing the lowly Saints on the fast deck of Etihad Stadium.

Saints don't have any hard taggers of note so no reason Treloar can't keep his hot form of late going.

Could be a great point of difference Captain if you are lucky enough to own him.

Best of luck this week for whoever you choose to put the C on.
