Our Land! Our Pride!

What is an african without his land??? Somewhere in Africa... a mother gives the shovel to her 'city' son and puts him to work, after all, he is an african.
Our land is our pride! We are filled with lushness, richness and fertility and that's why there's so much green surrounding us. Green is our colour! Take away our land and you take away a part of who we are. No wonder some fight and some even kill over a piece of land. You may wonder, but it's just a land! It maybe just a land but then it's our heritage, it's our legacy, it's our history, it's our pride, it's our sweat, it's our wealth, it is who we are. Our land is our pride! Green is our colour! As for the 'city boy', he just has to learn to know, feel and communicate with the land because one day, as an african, it will be his to command.
