As the first country in the country, US-Bangla is going to China
US-Bangla Airlines is going to start its journey in China's commercial city Guangzhou from Thursday as the first airline company in Bangladesh. Initially three days a week, the company will run flights from Dhaka to Guangzhou.
A spokesperson from the US-Bangla Airlines said on Wednesday that several private and private airlines have applied for flights to various cities of China after independence. But the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) has permitted the only US-Bangla Airlines to operate flights to China.
One-way fares on the Dhaka-Guangzhou route have been fixed at Tk 30, 408 and the bidding rate is 39 442. Initially Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday, the US-Bangla flight will leave for Guangzhou at 10:10 pm from Guangzhou. The flight will reach Guangzhou at 3:50 pm local time. From Guangzhou, the flight will leave Dhaka for Dhaka at 5.00 am on Sunday, Mercury and Friday and reach Dhaka at 7:30 in the morning.
Boeing 737-800 for 164 seats on the Dhaka-Guangzhou route will operate in the US-Bangla. There are 8 business class and 156 economy class seats in this aircraft. Currently there are four Boeing 737-800 and three dash 8-quarters 400 aircraft in the US-Bangla airplane. In this year, three more Boeing 737-800 and three Dash8QVs are going to be added to the US-Bengal fleet. Starting in 2014, the US-Bangla Airlines currently operates seven international and all domestic destinations.
